The Peyton Sisters 9-24-17

They’re coming!  The Peyton Sisters are making their way to Elwood on September 24th, 2017.  We are looking forward to an hour of worship and talent as these two sisters sing God’s praise.  One of the things they love most about singing is when they look out and see people raising their hands, worshiping God.  Let’s make this one of their favorite places to sing!

Who are the Peyton Sisters?

Rachael and Riley are originally from southern Illinois.  They are currently 14 and 15 and have been singing since they were 5 and 6.  They put together a program filled with Gospel, Hymns, and Contemporary music.  They started singing in churches and nursing homes.  Look at them now!

Just casually posing with Danny Gokey. Tell their hearts to beat again?

Why are they coming?

They are in town during that weekend for the Gaither Fall Fest Hometown Spectacular and wanted to reach out to local churches to sing.  They called us and we gladly welcomed them!  This is the third year in a row that the Gaithers have invited them, and after listening to them, I can see why!

Who is that man in a cap? It looks almost exactly like Bill Gaither

Their natural talent is augmented by the lessons they take from Joyce Martin Sanders.  Joyce is a member of the group “The Martins”–a gospel trio that does a lot of work with the Gaithers.

Get Here Early!

The program starts at 11:00 a.m. on September 24th.  The sanctuary can fit a limited number of people, so it will be beneficial to get here early.  We will be sending out real-time updates on Facebook and our app if capacity is reached on that morning.  The best news is this: It’s free!  A love offering will be taken up at the time of the service.
