Support groups meet here during the week

Food 4 Kids

Food 4 Kids is a program that was started by two members of our church
through our mission program. It helps to feed 140+ elementary school children on the weekends year-round.

Angel Tree Project

Provides Christmas gifts for children of prison inmates. Church members donate gifts, wrap them, and deliver the gifts to the children. We have provided gifts to approximately 200 children since 2014.

Christmas for Elwood

Church members provide food boxes, gift bags, and toys to families in need.

Elwood Community Men’s Group

Our men’s group has evolved into the Elwood Community Men’s Group. Our church hosts this men’s group and men from all over Elwood and the surrounding areas are welcome. We meet for breakfast and fellowship. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. Any changes to location are listed on our Facebook page or in the events section of our app.

Morrisett Center for Community Services (Downtown Elwood)

Houses our community food pantry and emergency assistance funds. The center is open Monday 6-7:30, Wednesday 10-noon, and Thursday 10-noon. In 2017, our church members raised over $2500 to support the Morrisett Center Walkathon.

This size 18 shoe was donated for the Walkathon.

This shoe was donated by an anonymous Indianapolis Colts player. It is awarded each year to the organization in Elwood that raises the most money for the Walkathon. We are recipients of the shoe once more in 2017!

Bereavement Dinners

We provide dinners for families after a funeral.

Parkview Care Center

We provide worship services, communion, and visitation with the residents.

Soul Food

The church provides a free warm meal to anyone in the community the third Thursday of each month @ 6pm

International Missions

Hope Overflowing

I am excited to announce that our newest partner in missions.  We provide financial support to Hope Overflowing.  The ministry helps provide food, clothing, shelter, and mentoring.  They help train Christians in Ethiopia to increase their involvement in ministries abroad.  This ministry was instrumental in bringing Teme, Haimie, and Fentaye to Indiana.   For more, visit the post.

Starved 4 Hope

Our church recently became involved with Starved4Hope, a daughter organization of Children’s Hope Chest. Starved4Hope is working in Tullo, Ethiopia to build up a school for the children in that village. Each child is also in need of a sponsor. To date, our church members sponsor 15 children through this ministry. For more information, please visit the Starved4Hope website.

Wycliffe Bible Translators

We provide financial support for Doug and Tammy White in Papua, New Guinea.

Freedom International Ministries

We provide financial support and recently returned from a mission trip to the Dominican Republic. Freedom International supports an area of the Dominican Republic primarily through education. We have two mission trips scheduled for 2018 to help with the building and education.


Camp Shining Light

We provide financial support for Kris and Lizzy White in Vanuatu.

International Disaster Emergency Services

Volunteers participate in disaster relief projects as they are needed. Recently, the church banded together and packaged over 10,300 GAP (God Always Provides) meals as a mission project. The food is delivered internationally in the mission fields.
