Higher in Christ, Deeper in Faith, Wider in Love

Women

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Proverbs 31:25

Women of faith bond together in a way that only Christian women can.  Join our women's groups in study, fellowship, and service. Opportunities are on-going.

"Breathe" by Priscilla Shirer

EMSCC Conference Room, Tuesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m.

There are two community-wide women's Bible studies per year organized by Sharon Crandall.  She has a heart for God and does her best to pull women from the community together in one study.  This is the current study and will run Tuesdays until October 29th 2019.  Registration is closed, but watch here for the next study!

One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe.  We are in bondage to busyness.  We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God's greatest gifts. It's time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God.

Women's Bible Study

This group meets at 1:00 pm on Mondays from first Monday in April through the last Monday in June and from the Monday after Labor Day through the first Monday in December.  The current study is "The Rock, The Road, and the Rabbi" by Kathy Lee Gifford.

Adah Circle

Adah Circle meets for Bible study at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. From April through October we also meet on the fourth Monday. We are currently studying  “The Rock, the Road, and the Rabbi” by Kathy Lee Gifford (at a different pace than the women's group above).
We sponsor monthly service projects to reach out to local, regional, and international missions (the Good Neighbor Fund of EMSCC, the Morrisett Center, the Indiana Women’s Prison, and Tools of Hope through Church World Service). See the monthly calendar in the church newsletter for the current project.
